Going public on the NEEQ (National Equities Exchange and Quotations) on May 30, 2014 and transferring its stock transfer mode as market making transfer on February 16, 2015, Guangzhou Cronus Bicycle Fashion Sports Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) is the only listed company concentrating on sports and leisure bicycle in mainland China.
The main business of the company is brand operation, design, research & development, manufacture and marketing of the sports and leisure bicycle of mid and high grade. With the positioning as “the global supplier of sports and leisure bicycle”, the company focuses on providing the domestic and overseas cyclists who pursue low-carbon and healthy life with high-quality sports and leisure bikes. The strategy of double brands and double channels is adopted in the domestic market. The user group is divided into professional and non-professional customers. Aiming at the different nature of these two groups, offline experience shops and online direct selling are adopted as two sales models by the two main brands (CRONUS and TROPIX).
With online sales model, the company targets the professional cyclists and builds Tropix a professional sports brand. A direct e-commerce platform is established by the company itself for directly selling the products to the customers, and the intermediate links like wholesale and retail, etc. are avoided in this way. So the price is lower than the one of traditional stores by 50％. Meanwhile, taking advantage of sharing economy, the company offers the service of installation and maintenance to the customers of Tropix through the national bicycle shops of different brands joining Tropix as the offline service points.
In the international markets, the company gives priority to developing the European markets which is already mature with great demands and high entry threshold, and builds the optimal bicycle production chain of the world by the layout of Cambodia and Portugal.
